I shot this photo in The Badlands in South Dakota and waited for just the right moment for the animal to look to the side to capture it. I like how the background mixed with the animal work to make a great

This photo of an abandoned house is one I chose to include as it tells a really interesting story. I chose to use black in white on the photo and like how the angle helps to show the whole house.

I chose to include this photo of a bird eyeing his next meal as it is a nice animal photo and I love how you're drawn to the bright yellow eye.

I set this still shot of cookies up to work on my macro photography. I used a low f stop to capture some of the cookies but leave some out of focus.

I shot this photo as I really liked how the bright color and chipping paint made for an interesting composition of an otherwise simple object.

I like how the purple flowers contrast from the butterfly in this photo.

I took this photo with studio lights of a flower from my yard with a black piece of paper behind it. The background helps to add focus to the "cone" of the flower and I used a large aperture to keep the petals blurred.

This photo was taken of an abandoned house. The chipping paint and broken glass make this an interesting shot.

I chose to include this photo of a herd of cows because I like how I was able to capture a whole herd but focus on one.

This photo was taken at Cadillac Ranch in Texas. I like how it shows such an odd piece of art in the middle of nowhere.

I shot this photo of 3 donuts using my studio lights and a red piece of paper. I like how the red helps to compliment the colors of the sprinkles and the overall bright colors of the photo.

I caught this photo of a pelican flying away in Florida. I like how I was able to capture the bird stretched out and ready to dive for dinner.
